Key Deadlines

- File Format: Use the official PowerPoint template provided.
Poster Specifications
- Material: Vinyl
- Size: 4 ft (width) x 3 ft (height)
- Orientation: Vertical
- Type: Printed posters only
Poster Display and Presentation
- Posters will be displayed in the Annexe Hall of the venue.
- Presentations will occur on two days during the conference.
- Display setup and space allocations will be communicated in advance.
- Poster presenters are expected to be present beside their posters during dedicated sessions to engage with delegates and answer questions.
Content and Layout Guidelines
- A. Visual Summary
- Your poster should communicate the core findings of your study using minimum text and maximum visuals.
- Include graphs, charts, maps, tables, and images where appropriate.
- Avoid unnecessary decorative elements; use visuals to support comprehension.
- B. Title and Header
- Display the poster title, presenter and co-author names, as per template.
- Use capitalized first letters for main words in titles and visuals (e.g., tables and figures).
Typography and Font Usage
- Title Font Size: Must be visible from 10 meters.
- Body Text Font Size: Minimum 18 pt, readable from 2 meters.
- Keep the text concise and structured using bullet points.
- Use Sans Serif fonts only: Arial, Tahoma, Trebuchet MS, or Microsoft Sans Serif.
- Limit to no more than three fonts in your poster. Apply consistently for headings, body text, and captions.
- Avoid large data blocks in text. Use tables/graphs to summarize results.
Colour and Design
- Prefer matte or non-glossy finishes to reduce glare.
- Use bold and coordinated colors to highlight important information — not just for decoration.
- Leave sufficient white space to prevent crowding and improve readability.
Key Thesis / SOCO Statement
- Include a Single Overriding Communication Objective (SOCO) – the one key message you want your audience to retain.
- Example framing: “What is the single most important takeaway from this study?”
Text Content
- Study background and purpose
- Main results (supported visually)
- Conclusions and implications
- Include a “References Cited” section at the bottom if external sources are used.
Poster Collection
- Posters must be submitted physically to the scientific committee on----
- Posters will be mounted by the organizers and remain on display throughout the conference.
- Presenters can collect their posters on the final day.
